This describes what WyndoGo (entity registration pending) collects when you use WyndoGo, why, and who else touches it. It is written to be specific rather than long.
What we collect
- Your account. Name, email address, and which organization you belong to. Handled by our authentication provider, Clerk.
- What you put in. Your customers and their contact details, bids and measurements, film libraries, labor rates, schedules, job photos, and payment records you enter.
- Operational logs. Ordinary server logs (requests, errors, timestamps) used to keep the service working.
We do not collect payment card numbers. When billing opens, card details will go directly to our payment processor and will not pass through WyndoGo.
Why we collect it
To run the service you signed up for: price your jobs, send bids to your customers, schedule your installs, and keep your records. That's it. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to advertise to you or to anyone else.
Who else touches it
- Clerk, authentication and organization membership.
- Neon, the Postgres database your records live in.
- Render, the hosting the application runs on.
- Resend, which delivers the bid emails you send to your customers.
- Cloudflare R2, which stores images uploaded against a bid.
Each of these processes data on our behalf to provide the service. We add to this list rather than quietly expanding what an existing provider does.
Your customers' information
When you enter a customer's name, address, or email, you're the one who decides to collect it, and we hold it for you. Sending a bid emails that customer on your behalf, with your reply-to address.
How long we keep it
For as long as your organization has an account. Ask us to delete your organization's data and we will, subject to any records we're legally required to retain.
Your choices
You can view and edit your data in the app, request an export, or request deletion. Email hello@wyndogo.com and a person will answer.
Security
Access is scoped to your organization and enforced on the server, not in the browser. An installer's session, for example, is never sent pricing or payment fields at all. Data is encrypted in transit. No system is perfect; if something goes wrong that affects you, we'll tell you.
